Where is the Kecak dance in central Ubud, and what does it cost? Sekar Bali Activity books the Kecak and fire dance at Pura Dalem Gede Kutuh Kaja, on Jl. Tirta Tawar, Banjar Kutuh Kaja, Petulu, Ubud. The show is Sunday and Tuesday, 19:00–20:00. The ticket is IDR 100,000 per person, the same for an adult or a child. Self-meet is free — about a 10-minute walk from central Ubud. A private shuttle is IDR 400,000 from Ubud or IDR 650,000 from the south coast, once per booking. Book the Ubud Kecak — WhatsApp, no payment to inquire.

The night, in one hour
Arrive around 18:30 so you can walk the Pura Dalem courtyard before you sit. Pura Dalem is the village temple associated with the unseen and with the life of the banjar around it. The chorus, the fire, and the seated characters happen in that courtyard — not in a roadside theater.
The story is the Ramayana episode guests already half-know: Hanoman helps Rama free Sinta from Ravana. An English explanation runs with the performance so the audience can feel the sacred story instead of only watching the sound. The chant is still the Kecak. The fire circle is the close.
This is a living temple night in the middle of Ubud’s shrine area. It is not a dance class, and it is not the cliff show at Uluwatu. Side by side: Ubud Kecak vs Uluwatu.

The shuttle is the same private car we use on ATV and Griya Beji: the driver waits through the show and takes you back. If you are already in Ubud, walking is the simpler plan. How the shuttle works.
What to know before you sit
Cover shoulders and knees. The courtyard is a temple. Women who are menstruating are asked not to enter the inner temple space — that is the banjar custom, not a Sekar rule we invented. Come a little early. The show is one hour.
