What the morning looks like
- Pickup from your Ubud hotel (08:00 or 09:00).
- Drive 30–40 minutes to Tampaksiring.
- Briefing — offering, sash, which spouts to use.
- Melukat in the holy spring pools (cold mountain water).
- Change into dry clothes, optional courtyard walk, shuttle back.
The pools are chest-deep for most adults. Tell us children’s ages on WhatsApp so we can judge comfort.
Dress code and etiquette
Covered shoulders. We bring sarong and sash. Do not wear the dry temple sarong into the water — use the bathing wrap. Women who are menstruating should not enter the inner courtyards or the pools. Full rules: Bali temple dress code.
Shuttle vs other pickup rules
